Deploy Wireless Alarms at Any Scale With the WH32 Repeater and WH52 Hub
Back in November, we launched the new Verkada Alarms – which runs on a brand new set of hardware designed for easy takeover of existing wired sensors. This enables organizations with traditional wired systems to get the benefits of Verkada without a full rip-and-replace.
But for sites without existing wiring, a wireless install is often easier and far more cost-effective. That’s why we’re introducing two new products for wireless deployments – the WH32 Wireless Repeater and the WH52 Wireless Hub. With our expanded portfolio of devices, organizations can easily scale wireless coverage across sites of any size.

Easy to Deploy at Any Site
The WH32 and WH52 are purpose-built for extending wireless sensor coverage in a cost-effective manner. Organizations can add sensors at a distance from the alarm panel with the WH52 wireless hub, which can be installed anywhere with an ethernet drop. And with the WH32 wireless repeater, which boosts the range of any hub, organizations can reach areas with poor signal without running cable.
For example, a retail organization could provide wireless coverage for a large store in the following manner:

In this example, the BP52 alarm panel and BK22 keypad are located in the back-of-house area. While the panel and keypad have built-in wireless hubs, they cannot cover the entire store due to the presence of walls.
The WH52 hub (A) and WH32 repeaters (B, C) address this gap. Hub A extends coverage to the rest of the back-of-house area, while repeaters B and C amplify the signal from hub A to cover the front-of-house. Repeater C could also pair with the keypad or panel if their signal was stronger than that of hub A.

Note: The WH32 can operate as a wireless hub when connected to the BP52 via RS485. In hub mode, it supports up to 32 sensors just like the WH52
Cloud-Managed, Highly Available
Like other Verkada products, the WH32 and WH52 are cloud-managed in Command. Users can remotely view live and historical activity, connection quality, and battery level for any connected sensor – making it easy to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
The WH32 and WH52 are designed to withstand internet and power outages, consistent with the rest of our new Alarms hardware. Both devices have a built-in backup battery and communicate locally with every other alarm device on site. As long as the BP52 panel is equipped with cellular backup and backup batteries, the entire alarm system is protected against outages.
