Welcoming Bill Berry as Verkada’s New General Counsel

We’re excited to officially welcome Bill Berry as Verkada’s new General Counsel. He brings 20 years of legal expertise and more than a decade of experience serving as an in-house legal leader for top Silicon Valley tech companies, including Tesla and Google.
As a trusted advisor and seasoned litigator representing companies across global legal matters, Bill’s expertise will continue pushing Verkada’s mission and strategic goals forward to ensure we’re delivering the highest standard of innovation and safest security technology.
Most recently at Tesla, Bill headed the company's legal department and worked alongside Tesla’s CEO to lead strategic direction for the company’s legal initiatives and goals. Previously, Bill led a team that managed all of Google's general litigation. He began his legal career as a patent lawyer at Knobbe Martens LLP, followed by positions as a litigator at Quinn Emanuel LLP and a member of the SEC's enforcement division. After serving in the U.S. on a guided-missile cruiser, Bill earned his law degree and MBA at the University of Virginia.
