Enhancing School Safety Nationwide with The "I Love U Guys" Foundation's Briefings Symposium

We partnered with The “I Love U Guys” Foundation because we share the same goal: to keep communities safe.

To build upon our partnership, we’re proud to announce that this fall we will host The "I Love U Guys" Foundation’s National School Safety Briefings Symposium. Scheduled for September 5-6, 2024 at Verkada headquarters in San Mateo, California, the Briefings Symposium will provide schools with the latest actionable insights, protocols, and best practices for effectively responding to all-hazards safety threats and emergencies. 

Developed through extensive research and collaboration with experts in the field, the resources provided cover all hazards, including active threats, natural disasters, and medical emergencies. Bringing together hundreds of leaders from across the country, the Briefings Symposium also encourages important knowledge-sharing, relationship-building, and overall collaboration across all parts of the school safety community.

As school safety remains a critical issue to address, initiatives like the Briefings Symposium play a crucial role in equipping educational leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate and mitigate potential threats effectively. Every school should have access to comprehensive and practical resources to safeguard their students and staff. By hosting the Briefings Symposium, we hope to support The “I Love U Guys” mission to ensure every school has the knowledge and tools they need to effectively respond to any emergency situation.
