We're excited to announce that starting September 15th, 2023, Verkada will offer our customers the option to process and store their data, including image and video data, locally in our new European Union (EU)-based data center.
Verkada already allows customers to set their data storage location for image and video data for the United States, European Union, Canada, or Australia on an org-wide or camera-by-camera basis. With this launch, customers can now choose to have their data, including People and Vehicle Analytics, processed in the EU. By offering local processing and storage in the EU, we are giving our customers even more control over where they use our products and services.
Getting Started
To get started, create a Command account. When you create your organization in Command, you have the option to select from our two existing data centers, the United States or EU.
Once you select your data center, you are ready to activate, configure, and add devices to your organization in Command. Going forward, your devices will be set to send your data to your selected data center.
