Intercom Events Reporting

Certain institutions face regulatory and operational mandates that require documentation of intercom usage patterns, including recording visitor and delivery timestamps. To address these needs, the reports feature generates comprehensive event logs spanning all intercoms and locations, with the option to export this data to CSVs.

Global Events Across Intercom Devices 

Global Events allow organizations to search, filter, and view multiple intercom calls across devices. From the new Global Events tab on the left of the intercom page, admins can view all events and apply filters by site, intercom, receiver, and whether a POI was detected. Videos auto-play for easy viewing, and a map tool provides additional context on the device’s location.

Improved People Detection in Cars

We’ve improved the performance and reliability of our computer vision capabilities to more accurately identify people in vehicles, specifically in eye-level intercom deployments. Customers will see the improved results appear in the People Detected tab of the intercom call page.

LPR Unlock Now Supported on the TD52

The TD52 can now connect to CB52 and CB62 bullet cameras, allowing customers to unlock garage entrances using vehicle license plates as access credentials. Our peer-to-peer technology supports this functionality, which works entirely on the local network.

Receive Concurrent Calls from Command

Customers can now receive concurrent calls on a web browser through Verkada Command. Receivers can easily view incoming calls, call wait time, and connection status. Bulk SIP Creation

Global SIP registration allows users to configure many intercoms simultaneously with unique SIP caller IDs, extensions, or passwords. Admins manage this configuration within the global intercom settings tab, where they can bulk-register SIP devices and credentials by uploading a CSV of SIP devices. Shared Call Flows

New Desk Station Functionality and a Refreshed Design

Verkada Intercom has a new version of the popular Desk Station application. The new version includes real-time call status to see who the intercom is calling and if someone has picked up; a lockdown trigger to instantly secure a building; in-call Person of Interest alerts for faster response times; better warnings and error messages for connectivity issues; and of course, in-call person of interest alerts. All of these new capabilities will be displayed on a completely new user interface redesigned for clarity and functionality.
