Product Updates
Customers can now configure the GC31-E’s PoE input as a LAN port, thus passing LTE data over the port. This reduces installation complexity when a PoE switch is needed to extend the amount of power or ports for connected devices, such as cameras. In particular, the switch can send power to the gateway’s PoE input while getting LTE data back for connected devices.
Customers can now set up a GC31 or GC31-E cellular gateway as a site-to-site IPsec VPN client. This allows customers to enable RTSP for connected cameras, or bring cameras into their real-time crime center without installing separate Fusus cores at each remote deployment.
Customers can now set up and receive alerts for:
WAN failover mode allows the GC31 and GC31-E to act as an uplink to your existing network and fall back to cellular data if necessary. This helps customers ensure that their security devices remain online and operational even when their primary network experiences downtime.

The ACC-ANT-10 Outdoor Directional Antenna can boost signal strength on the GC31-E when pointed toward the correct cell tower. For optimal performance, mount the antenna high up on a pole for a clearer line of sight toward the cell tower.

Available in both indoor and outdoor versions, the GC31 Cellular Gateway makes it simple to deploy Verkada products anywhere with power and cell signal, including hard-to-wire locations such as parking lots, construction sites, or streetlight poles.
