To honor the individuals and organizations that go above and beyond doing the mission-critical work of keeping their organizations safe, Verkada is excited to announce the 2024 Safety Champion Awards.
We are opening up nominations through July 9, 2024 and will announce honorees at our annual user conference, VerkadaOne. We invite you to recognize and nominate leaders across the following categories:
Impact Award
The Impact Award recognizes an individual who has made a positive, tangible impact on the safety and security of their organization and/or community. Learn more about rules and eligibility.
In addition to celebrating our honoree at VerkadaOne, winners will receive a $15,000 monetary gift.

Security Professional Excellence Award
The Security Professional Excellence Award recognizes a Verkada customer who has demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and dedication in leveraging technology to enhance security measures within their organizations and/or community. This award is open to physical security professionals only. Learn more about rules and eligibility.

School Safety Excellence Award
The School Safety Excellence Award acknowledges schools or universities that use Verkada and have spearheaded comprehensive safety initiatives to proactively address security challenges, emergency preparedness, and student wellbeing. Learn more about rules and eligibility.
In addition to celebrating our honoree at VerkadaOne, winners will receive $50,000 in Verkada products for their organization (or an organization of their choosing).
