Today, we’re delighted to announce the availability of new FIPS-validated pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) and multisensor camera models: the CP52-E-F and CH52-E-F, respectively. With the introduction of our new FIPS-validated PTZ and multisensor, we provide a full spectrum of camera models and features with additional layers of security to support our government customers.
Public sector customers and partners using both Command and Command in AWS GovCloud* can leverage Verkada’s advanced analytics suite along with hardware features like 28x optical zoom, 360° pan, and 220° tilt for our PTZ camera and 20MP image resolution and 30-meter IR range for our multisensor. The 28x optical zoom, pan, and tilt capabilities of the CP52-E-F empower government security personnel to monitor large areas like parking lots or building exteriors with a 360-degree range of motion and identify potential threats like persons or vehicles of interest from anywhere. The extended 30-meter IR range on the CH52-E-F enhances nighttime viewing, keeping duty officers informed of activity even in low-light conditions. The CP52-E-F and CH52-E-F meet the FIPS 140-2 encryption standard, as validated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and are TAA and FY2019 NDAA compliant.
As with our other government-grade cameras, these PTZ and multisensor cameras are FIPS-validated out-of-the-box. Government customers and partners using Command and Command in AWS GovCloud can simply plug in a FIPS-validated PTZ or multisensor camera and claim it for their organization to begin leveraging the cameras for their security operations. The cameras will then run FIPS encryption-in-transit and encryption-at-rest by default, with no additional setup needed.
The CH52-E-F will be available in mid-August 2024, and the CP52-E-F will be available in mid-September, 2024. The CP52-E-F starts at $4,199 and the CH52-E-F starts at $4,099.
