Introducing Third-Party VMS Integrations for Air Quality Sensor Events
Thousands of organizations regularly rely on our sensors to monitor air quality and swiftly identify deviations from accepted thresholds. However, for our customers using third-party video management systems (VMS), it has been challenging to view sensor alerts in their VMS and associate camera footage for investigations.
To make it easier to connect sensor data to a third-party VMS, we are pleased to introduce three pre-built integrations between Verkada and Milestone XProtect, Wisenet WAVE, and exacqVision. With these integrations, customers can now receive sensor event alerts within their VMS, gain immediate visual context, and take action. The resulting experience is much simpler, and organizations can better uphold their health and safety standards.
To set up these integrations, Verkada customers can navigate to “Sensor Video Integrations” in Verkada Command, select a supported VMS, and follow a few simple steps – like entering the VMS IP address and port and selecting the appropriate Verkada sensor(s). In the VMS, customers will receive an alert that can be easily linked to a camera and includes the sensor name, sensor reading, reading value, threshold surpassed, and timestamp.
Availability
Integrations to Milestone XProtect, Wisenet WAVE, and exacqVision will be available on October 3rd in all regions, with support for more on-premise systems to come.
