As a fast-growing company, we’re always seeking talented individuals to help us achieve our mission of protecting people and places in a privacy sensitive way. Whether you are interviewing to be a Software Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or Account Executive, here is what you can expect throughout the interview process:

The interview process at Verkada typically begins with a phone or video call with a recruiter. This is a chance for us to learn about your background, skills and career goals while sharing more about Verkada’s mission, culture and values.

What to Expect

Your recruiter will guide you through the role and answer any preliminary questions you may have.

We believe it’s important for candidates to meet potential team members early in the interview process. During the Hiring Manager Screen, you’ll meet with the Hiring Manager or a potential team member to discuss role expectations, your qualifications, and how your experience aligns with the team’s goals. 

What to Expect

This conversation includes a mix of behavioral and role-specific questions, as well as insights into Verkada and our current projects. 

Depending on the role, candidates may be asked to complete technical assessments tailored to the position.

What to Expect

These assessments are designed to evaluate your technical skills and problem-solving abilities relevant to the position. Your recruiter will provide you with information regarding your assessment, and will work with you to make sure you feel prepared.

If it seems like the candidate is a good fit for the role, they’ll be invited for on-site interviews at one of Verkada’s offices. 

What to Expect

This step often includes meetings with team members, technical exercises, and discussions about your experience and how it aligns with Verkada’s needs. Your recruiter will guide you on what to expect during the visit, so you can put your best foot forward.
