Verkada Guest now supports issuing on-demand visitor access credentials. Visitors can receive digital or physical keycards, with permissions customized to their specific needs. The credentialing process is intuitive and quick, reducing administrative overhead and allowing visitors the independence to access certain areas. Each credential type is linked to the individual visitor, ensuring transparency over site access at all times.

The improved Guest events landing page provides organizations visibility into all present, future, and past events. From a glance, users can quickly see event details and headcount, promoting better planning and coordination. This update also enables organizations to pre-print visitor badges for all registered visitors.
Verkada Guest now supports multi-day events. Visitors only need to register once for the event, and they’ll be expected on each day of the event, allowing them to bypass lengthy check-in procedures for every day of their visit. This streamlines the registration process and ensures a seamless re-entry experience for returning visitors.
We’re excited to announce an update to student guest type functionality that makes school check-ins and check-outs easier than ever. Student guest types are now as flexible as standard guest types when creating new Questionnaire flows, enabling conditional logic based on student responses. Additionally, features like Face Pass and Guest Pass are now available, providing expedited and secure check-in options.
We’re implementing minor interface design updates for our security screens when there’s a potential match with a criminal record. Additionally, we’ll consolidate profiles with limited information that may be potential matches into a separate review area, distinct from the full records list. This will streamline the security screening process and enhance usability.
The major update to our Questionnaires feature gives administrators the ability to customize the check-in experience for guests based on the purpose of their visit. With this update, users can create an even more personalized check-in process using conditional logic depending on the information administrators require. Organizations can then allow or deny entry based on the answers to these questions.

Face Pass is a feature designed to simplify check-ins for returning visitors to locations with a high volume of visitors or where manual check-ins are rate-limiting. Face Pass uses facial recognition technology to expedite check-ins for returning visitors who have opted in. The guest simply indicates they are a returning visitor on the screen, triggering the tablet to perform a facial scan. Once a positive face ID is confirmed, a new badge will be printed for the visit.
