• Enterprise Controlled Encryption (ECE): Verkada encrypts video data at rest (i.e., on the user’s device or on Verkada’s cloud servers) and in transit (i.e., as data moves among devices and the cloud). • CM42-S Mini Split Camera: The CM42-S, our latest mini split camera, is optimized for flexible, discreet deployments. The CM42-S features a 5MP sensor, a separate main unit for storage and processing, HDMI and microphone ports for comprehensive monitoring, and a 6-foot / 2-meter USB-C cable to connect the sensor and main units. • Occupancy Trends Dashboard: The new Occupancy Trends dashboard aggregates person or vehicle traffic data across multiple cameras in a single view, making it easy for users to visualize and understand the occupancy of their spaces over time. Learn more.

• Improved Video Streaming: As part of our drive to offer a constantly-improving platform, we have incorporated two new streaming technologies–Webcodecs and HTTP/2–to reduce both latency and time-to-first frame by 65% and 50%, respectively. Learn more.

• New Camera Mounts: To accompany our next-generation cameras, we’re introducing four new camera mounts: ACC-MNT-PEND-1, ACC-MNT-UPEND-1, ACC-MNT-CJBOX-1, and ACC-MNT-ANGLE-1. • AD64 Door Reader: The fourth-generation AD64 offers improved credential scan performance and Bluetooth Intent Unlock, along with a keypad so organizations can use PIN codes as an additional form of access credential or as two-factor authentication. Learn more.

• Mobile NFC on Android Devices: Verkada access control users with Android devices now have the ability to unlock doors using mobile NFC technology. Learn more.

• Site Planner: [In beta for partners only] Site Planner streamlines Verkada deployments by helping partners visualize, quote, and plan installations using actual floor plans. Learn more.

• Face Pass: Return visitors can check in using facial recognition for a faster check-in experience. Learn more.

• Customizable Badge Designs: This new feature allows organizations to distinguish visitors through badge design and color, helping indicate guest access levels and/or requirements. 

Intercom 

• TD33, TD53, and TD63 Video Intercoms: We are introducing our next generation of intercoms with an expanded set of form factors, all of which feature a built-in card reader: the TD33, our most compact form factor which can be mounted on mullions; the TD53, which improves upon our TD52 model with a thinner profile and more inputs/outputs and microphones; and the TD63, which additionally includes a built-in keypad.
